USC's official news page is even more explicit: it called the April 13, 2013 event "USC | 5D Institute's first live, interactive festival, 'The Science of Fiction: World Building in Action'". Computer Graphics World likewise described the 2013 event as "the first Science of Fiction one-day World Building festival."
