Anthropic's own March 11, 2026 announcement says: "The Institute is led by our co-founder Jack Clark, who will assume a new role as Anthropic's Head of Public Benefit." The same announcement also says: "Sarah Heck ... will lead this team as Head of Public Policy."

So the post's description of Jack Clark as "the head of policy" is outdated and incorrect. As of Anthropic's official announcement, Jack Clark's role is Head of Public Benefit, and the company's Public Policy organization is led by Sarah Heck.

Anthropic's own May 6, 2026 announcement describes the compute agreement as a SpaceX partnership, not an xAI partnership. The announcement headline is "Higher usage limits for Claude and a compute deal with SpaceX" and the body says "We've agreed to a partnership with SpaceX" and "We've signed an agreement with SpaceX to use all of the compute capacity at their Colossus 1 data center."

Because the post specifically says Anthropic announced the deal "with xAI", it misidentifies the company Anthropic publicly named as its compute partner.
