This sentence gets the start year of Gottwald's SNL tenure wrong.

A detailed 2013 New Yorker profile reports that in 1997 SNL bandleader Lenny Pickett began looking for a young guitarist, auditioned Gottwald, and hired him for the band. A separate NPR/WBUR profile likewise says Dr. Luke was the SNL house band's lead guitarist from 1997 until 2007.

So the available biographical reporting points to 1997 as the year he joined the Saturday Night Live band, not 1996.

The date range here appears to be off by one year.

The strongest available biographical source I found, The New Yorker, says SNL bandleader Lenny Pickett was seeking a guitarist in 1997, auditioned Gottwald, and brought him into the band then. NPR/WBUR likewise describes Dr. Luke as the SNL house band's lead guitarist from 1997 until 2007.

That means the more supported range is 1997–2007, not 1996–2007.

This overstates what the April 6, 2016 ruling did.

A later New York court opinion summarizing the case history states that the April 6, 2016 order "dismissed all but one of Kesha's counterclaims". NPR reporting from the time likewise said one of Kesha's claims surrounding her contract was still pending in court after the ruling.

So the order did not dismiss all of Kesha's counterclaims; at least one counterclaim remained.
