Marktgemeinde Krün
Krün is not officially a Marktgemeinde (market municipality). Official government and municipal sources identify it simply as "Gemeinde Krün."
Full reasoning
The article calls Krün a "Marktgemeinde", but official sources identify it as "Gemeinde Krün".
- The municipality’s own official website is headed "Gemeinde Krün" and repeatedly uses that designation.
- The Bavarian government’s BayernPortal entry for the local authority is titled "Gemeinde Krün, Landkreis Garmisch-Partenkirchen".
In Bavaria, Markt/Marktgemeinde is an official municipal status. When a municipality has that status, official government sources normally use it in the authority name (for example, "Markt Mittenwald"). Here, the authoritative sources instead use Gemeinde Krün, so describing Krün as a Marktgemeinde is incorrect.
