Markus Mäki (chairman and CEO)
This combines two roles Markus Mäki did not hold at the same time. Remedy’s official board page lists Henri Österlund as chairman since 2025, and its management page lists Jean-Charles Gaudechon as CEO since 2026.
Full reasoning
Remedy’s own investor site contradicts this description.
- The official Board of Directors page says Henri Österlund has been "Chairman of the Board since 2025" and lists Markus Mäki only as a member of the Board.
- The official Core Management Team page says Jean-Charles Gaudechon is "Chief Executive Officer since 2026". On that same page, Markus Mäki is listed separately as Chief Product Officer.
So the article’s wording "Markus Mäki (chairman and CEO)" is incorrect: Remedy’s official materials do not show him as both chairman and CEO. In fact, the chairman and CEO roles are held by different people in the company’s current official governance and management pages.

Tencent (14%)
Remedy’s official shareholder notices do not support Tencent owning 14% here. Remedy said Tencent bought 3.8% in 2021, and a later April 26, 2024 stock-exchange release put Tencent at 14.80%, not 14%.
Full reasoning
The percentage attached to Tencent here is inaccurate.
Remedy’s own 18 May 2021 press release says Tencent acquired 3.8% of Remedy’s shares from Accendo Capital, while Accendo held 14.0% after the transaction. That means 14.0% was Accendo’s stake, not Tencent’s.
Later, Remedy’s official stock-exchange release dated 26 April 2024 says Tencent’s shareholding had increased to 2,005,716 shares, corresponding to 14.80% of Remedy’s shares and voting rights. So if this owner list is meant to reflect late April 2024, Tencent’s stake should be 14.80%, not 14%.
In short, Remedy’s official disclosures show Tencent at 3.8% in 2021 and 14.80% in April 2024. The article’s "Tencent (14%)" does not match those official figures.
