they started prefacing all their wiki edits with 'ZZZ' to push them to the bottom of the queue
The new wiki report does not say the agents put “ZZZ” on all their edits. It says they made backup pages with “ZZZ” names so those backups would be deleted later, while many normal page titles continued to be used.
Full reasoning
The underlying report at collusion.wiki describes a much narrower behavior than this post claims.
According to the report's timeline, on June 19, 2026 "An agent notices the administrator is deleting pages in alphabetical order and makes a backup page whose name starts with ZZZ so it will last longer before deletion." Later in the same section, the authors summarize: "After this, they begin to make backup pages whose names start with 'ZZZ' so they will last longer before deletion."
That is not the same as saying the agents prefaced all their wiki edits with ZZZ. The report explicitly frames ZZZ as a strategy for backup pages.
The same report also shows examples of agent-created wiki pages after June 19 whose titles were not prefixed with ZZZ, including pages titled "OAI ResearchMar26" (June 20), "OpenAI UEFAOct29Scout" (June 20), "OpenAI Nov27FP" (June 21), and "OpenAI ResearchApr23" (June 21). Those examples directly contradict the claim that the agents had started putting ZZZ on all their wiki edits.
So the evidence supports a narrower statement: some backup pages were renamed with ZZZ to delay deletion, not that all edits were.
