Tabatha Bundensen
Correction
The owner’s surname is misspelled here. Reliable sources identify her as Tabatha Bundesen, not “Bundensen.”
Full reasoning
This caption misspells Grumpy Cat’s owner’s last name.
Multiple reputable sources identify her as Tabatha Bundesen:
- ABC News refers to Grumpy Cat’s owner as “Tabatha Bundesen.”
- Inc. likewise identifies the owner as “Tabatha Bundesen” in an interview about building the Grumpy Cat brand.
So the caption’s spelling, “Bundensen,” is incorrect.
