This sentence misdates the Council of Pisa.

Reliable reference works place the council itself in 1409:

• The New Catholic Encyclopedia article on the Council of Pisa describes it as “a council convened in 1409” and says it opened at Pisa on March 25, 1409.
• The Catholic Encyclopedia article likewise says the cardinals sent letters in July 1408 summoning a general council at Pisa for 25 March 1409.

So 1408 was the year the council was planned and summoned, but the Council of Pisa that Cossa participated in took place in 1409.

The article gives the wrong date for the Council of Constance.

The standard chronology is:

• 30 October 1413: Sigismund invited the rival popes and Christendom to attend the future council.
• 9 December 1413: John XXIII issued the convocation bull.
• 1 November 1414: the date set for the council to open.
• 5 November 1414: the council was solemnly opened at Constance.
• 16 November 1414: first public session.

The Catholic Encyclopedia article on John XXIII explicitly states that 30 October 1413 was when Sigismund issued the invitation, and that the council was to open on 1 November 1414; it also says John entered Constance on 29 October 1414 and the council was opened on 5 November. The Catholic Encyclopedia article on the Council of Constance likewise says John convoked it on 9 December 1413 and that it was solemnly opened on 5 November 1414.

So “30 October 1414” is not the date the Council of Constance was convened.
