Anything you can do in Readwise, your AI can now do for you.
Readwise's own MCP documentation lists a limited set of supported AI actions, not every action available in Readwise/Reader. For example, Reader supports deleting documents and subscribing to feeds, but those actions are not included in the MCP tool list.

Readwise's official MCP page explicitly presents an exhaustive list of capabilities by saying, "These are the actions available to your AI tool when using the Readwise MCP", then listing the supported Reader and Readwise tools. That list includes actions like searching documents, adding/removing tags, moving documents between locations, and creating/updating highlights.
But Readwise's own product docs show there are normal Readwise/Reader actions outside that MCP list:
- In the Reader basics docs, Readwise says users can delete a document from Reader and later restore it from Trash.
- In the Feed docs, Readwise says users can subscribe or unsubscribe to RSS feeds inside Reader.
Those are things you can do in Readwise/Reader, yet they are not among the MCP actions Readwise says are available to AI tools. So the blanket claim that your AI can do anything you can do in Readwise overstates the current MCP feature set.
