remained out of public life since June 2025.
Peterson did not disappear from public-facing activity after June 2025. His official podcast feed shows new Jordan Peterson episodes released in August and November 2025.
Full reasoning
This claim is contradicted by Peterson’s own official podcast feed.
Apple Podcasts’ page for The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast lists multiple new episodes released after June 2025, including:
- August 7, 2025 — "569. Family Conflicts, Difficult Children & Overcoming Resentment | Answer The Call," described as: "Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is joined by his daughter Mikhaila Fuller ..."
- August 11, 2025 — "570. How You Should Deal with Stress and Tragedy | Answer the Call"
- August 14, 2025 — "571. Master Relationships and Improve Your Dating Life | Answer the Call"
- November 17, 2025 — "572. Navigating Education, Ideology, and Children | Answer the Call"
Those are public releases on Peterson’s official show, so it is not accurate to say he had "remained out of public life since June 2025."
There may well have been serious health interruptions, but the absolute claim that he stayed out of public life from June 2025 onward is contradicted by his own official podcast publication record.

He was in an intensive care unit for three months, after being diagnosed with polyneuropathy, and later myopathy.
Contemporary reporting based on his daughter’s update said Peterson spent about a month in the ICU, not three months.
Full reasoning
The "three months" ICU claim does not match the contemporaneous reporting of Mikhaila Peterson’s own update.
Newsweek reported on October 5, 2025 that Mikhaila Peterson said her father had been in the ICU "suffering from pneumonia and sepsis" and later specified that, after her father's "month in the ICU," he developed critical illness polyneuropathy. The same report says she hoped it might instead be critical illness myopathy.
So the public record available from his family’s update points to about one month in intensive care, not three months. It also presents myopathy as something they were hoping was the diagnosis instead of polyneuropathy, not a later confirmed diagnosis after three months in ICU.
