In 1938, when he picked up the pen to write Auf den Marmor-Klippen (On the Marble Cliffs), he was 43 years old
The dating here is off: scholarship places the writing of *On the Marble Cliffs* in 1939, not 1938.
Full reasoning
The claim gives the start of composition as 1938, but the sources I found place the novella's writing in 1939. Helmuth Kiesel's study says Jünger wrote the work in 1939 and that it was published immediately after the outbreak of war. A more recent scholarly dissertation likewise states that Jünger began the novel in February 1939 near Überlingen. So the year attached to Jünger's beginning the book should be 1939, not 1938.

Although additional reprints were verboten in 1942
That blanket statement is too strong: a 1942 special edition of the book was in fact printed for the German Army.
Full reasoning
The post says further reprints were simply forbidden in 1942. But a scholarly review in the German Historical Institute London Bulletin states that in 1942 the German Army published a special edition of 20,000 copies of Auf den Marmorklippen for distribution to troops. That means it is not accurate to say that additional reprints were categorically 'verboten' in 1942, even if civilian paper allocations or ordinary trade printing may have been restricted.

"Indeed, Jünger’s reputation in the Third Reich was so high that in 1942 the German Army published a special edition of 20,000 copies of Auf den Marmorklippen for distribution to the troops."
