So this Wikipedia text incorrectly places several Rasuwa locations under Nuwakot. It appears to conflate Rasuwa places (Timure, Dhunche, Mailung, Syafrubesi) with downstream Nuwakot places such as Betrawati, Trishuli, and Devighat.

Official Chinese government reporting directly contradicts this date.

• The State Council / Xinhua report "Chinese premier arrives at mudslide-hit area in Xizang" states that Li Qiang arrived at Gyirong Township on August 27, 2026 (Thursday afternoon).
• A separate Xinhua report on Li Qiang’s schedule says he was in Heilongjiang and Jilin from August 24 to 26, and specifically notes that on August 26 he was in Jilin. That means he could not also have arrived in Gyirong on the 26th.

So the article’s statement puts Li Qiang’s arrival in Gyirong one day too early.
