The table lists 2007 as the founding year for the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. But Harvard’s official schools page and SEAS overview both identify the school as founded in 1847, tracing it to the Lawrence Scientific School. SEAS’s dean’s office explains the significance of 2007: that was when SEAS was elevated from a division to a school, not when Harvard engineering was founded.

Harvard’s own endowment page and fiscal 2025 financial materials list the University’s 2025 endowment at $56.9 billion. That directly contradicts the article’s infobox figure of $55.7 billion (2025). This is not just a rounding difference: Harvard reports the 2025 value as $56.9 billion in its official university materials.

In this table, the linked entry is Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, but Harvard’s official schools page says GSAS was founded in 1890. GSAS’s own history explains the source of the confusion: 1872 was the year Harvard created the earlier Graduate Department. The current graduate school traces its roots to 1872, but the school itself was founded later, in 1890.
