YouTube closed his account permanently on 22 January 2021
The permanent removal happened in November 2020, not on January 22, 2021. January 22 was when outlets reported the ban, but YouTube said the channel had already been removed after a third strike on November 19, 2020.
Full reasoning
This sentence gets the date of the permanent YouTube removal wrong.
On January 22, 2021, Reuters reported YouTube's decision, but the statement Reuters quoted from YouTube says the channel "was removed from YouTube after receiving the third strike ... on November 19th, 2020." NDR's press material for Cui Bono: WTF happened to Ken Jebsen? likewise places the deletion on 19.11.2020 with the timeline entry "Deplatforming YouTube löscht KenFM".
So January 22, 2021 is the reporting/public announcement date, not the date the account was actually removed. The claim that YouTube permanently closed it on 22 January 2021 is therefore inaccurate.
