Switzerland Tourism’s official 2024 ranking of the country’s most visited attractions by tickets sold lists Zoo Zürich first with 1,270,000 visitors and Zoo Basel second with 1,226,274 visitors. That means the caption identifying Zoo Basel as “Switzerland's most visited tourist attraction with an entrance fee” is no longer correct according to the latest official ranking available.
