The statement says there are currently 2 academic centers with dedicated CHIP clinics. But official hospital pages show additional academic centers had already established dedicated CHIP clinics before this March 15, 2026 post.

• Mayo Clinic published an article on January 28, 2023 titled “Clonal hematopoiesis clinic stratifies risk for patients with cancer.” It states that Mayo’s Cancer Center efforts are led in “the CHIP clinic” and that “The clinic is designed to screen patients for CHIP and consult on plans of care.”
• NYU Langone Health has an official page for its “Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminant Potential (CHIP) Clinic.” The page says this clinic is part of NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center and Center for Blood Cancers.
• The University of Chicago page cited in the post also explicitly labels its program the “Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminate Potential (CHIP) Clinic.”

So the article’s count of only 2 academic centers is incorrect: the official Mayo and NYU pages alone already bring the total to at least 4 (Mayo, NYU Langone, UChicago, and Cleveland Clinic).
