Correction
This games-played total for Simmons’ 2024–25 Clippers stint is off by one. Official NBA sources show he finished 2024–25 with 51 regular-season appearances total, which means 18 with the Clippers after 33 with Brooklyn.
Full reasoning
The table lists 17 games played for Simmons’ 2024–25 regular season with the L.A. Clippers, but official NBA sources indicate that number should be 18.
Here’s how we can verify it:
- The Clippers’ official signing announcement says Simmons had already played 33 games for Brooklyn at the time he joined Los Angeles on February 10, 2025.
- Simmons’ NBA.com player profile says he finished the 2024–25 campaign with 51 regular-season appearances.
- Subtracting the 33 Brooklyn appearances from the 51 season total leaves 18 regular-season games with the Clippers.
So the article’s Clippers games-played figure of 17 is incorrect.
