The same is true of Deepseek V3.2.
Correction

As of this post’s publication date, DeepSeek V3.2 had not been released yet. DeepSeek’s official docs show V3.2 launched on December 1, 2025; in October 2025 the available version was DeepSeek-V3.2-Exp.

Full reasoning

This post is dated October 19, 2025. But DeepSeek’s own changelog says the API was upgraded to DeepSeek-V3.2-Exp on September 29, 2025, and only later to DeepSeek-V3.2 on December 1, 2025. DeepSeek’s V3.2 release page also describes V3.2 as the “official successor to V3.2-Exp.”

So, on October 19, 2025, a user could have tested DeepSeek-V3.2-Exp, but not DeepSeek V3.2 as named here. If the author meant the experimental model, the post should label it V3.2-Exp rather than V3.2.
