Women typically want to not have consent to what's happening.
This is not the wording John Wentworth used on LessWrong. His January 2, 2026 post says women "want to not have to consent to what's happening," with an extra "to" that changes the quote.
Full reasoning
The post presents this sentence in quotation marks as though it is a direct quote from John Wentworth's 2026 LessWrong post. But the LessWrong post's actual wording is different.
In "The Weirdness of Dating/Mating: Deep Nonconsent Preference" (published January 2, 2026), Wentworth writes:
"women typically want to not have to consent to what's happening."
The quoted X post omits the word "to" after "have", changing the text it attributes to him. Because the post uses quotation marks and says John "wrote this," accuracy of the wording matters here: it is not a verbatim quote of the LessWrong post.

- The Weirdness of Dating/Mating: Deep Nonconsent Preference - LessWrong
The Weirdness of Dating/Mating ... by johnswentworth 2nd Jan 2026 ... I claim that most women have a "deep" preference for nonconsent in dating/mating. It's not just a kink; from the first approach to a date to sex, women typically want to not have to consent to what's happening.
