The claim says ramatroban is indicated for coronary artery disease, but the product labeling for Baynas tablets 50 mg / 75 mg (ramatroban) identifies the drug as a "Medicine for allergic rhinitis". The same labeling lists the Japanese approval and marketing information for Baynas/ramatroban and does not present coronary artery disease as the approved indication. A current company description of ramatroban likewise says it has been used in Japan for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Together, these sources directly contradict the article's statement about coronary artery disease.

This sentence is no longer correct. A registered ClinicalTrials.gov study, NCT05706454, is a Phase 2/Phase 3 trial evaluating ramatroban plus standard of care versus placebo plus standard of care in subjects hospitalized for COVID-19 pneumonia / SARS-CoV-2 infection. KARE Biosciences also states that ramatroban "is currently being tested in a randomized placebo-controlled trial of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in India (RAMBAN-1)." Because a clinical trial has in fact been registered and conducted/tested, the statement that "no clinical trial has yet been conducted" is incorrect.
