Claim
Giacomo Montecristo
Correction
The mayor is not Giacomo Montecristo. Official municipal and public-administration sources list Ireneo Giardinello as Leni’s current mayor.
Full reasoning
The claim names Giacomo Montecristo as mayor, but the official website of the Comune di Leni lists Giardinello Ireneo as Sindaco, with the term starting on 29 April 2024. A separate public-administration summary page for the municipality likewise states that Ireneo Giardinello is the mayor, elected on 9 June 2024. These sources directly contradict the name given in the post.
