17
The Clippers games-played figure is off by one: official NBA records show Simmons played 18 regular-season games for L.A. in 2024–25, not 17.
Full reasoning
This 17 appears in the 2024–25 regular-season table for Simmons’ stint with the L.A. Clippers, where it represents games played. Official NBA sources contradict that number.
- When the Clippers signed Simmons on February 10, 2025, the team’s official release said he had already played 33 games for Brooklyn that season.
- NBA.com’s later recap of Simmons’ 2024–25 season says he played 51 total games that year with the Brooklyn Nets and LA Clippers.
That means his Clippers total was 51 - 33 = 18 regular-season games, so the table entry of 17 is incorrect.
This is also consistent with NBA.com’s player data for Simmons’ 2024–25 Clippers stint.
