The sentence conflates two different dates:

An official publication of the Evangelisches Stift explains this explicitly: “1547 wurde im ehemaligen Kloster das 1536 gegründete Herzogliche Stipendium untergebracht.” That wording means the institution already existed from 1536, but was only placed in the former monastery building in 1547.

A scholarly book published by Mohr Siebeck says the same thing in its description of the Stift’s history: the Augustinian monastery is the place “in dem ab 1547 das Herzogliche Stipendium, heute bekannt als Evangelisches Stift, untergebracht ist.”

So the part claiming it was founded in 1536 in that building is incorrect; 1536 is the founding year, while 1547 is the date when it was housed in the former Augustinian monastery.

This statement is outdated.

A 2025 report from the Evangelischer Pressedienst states that Frank Oidtmann “von 2015 bis 2025 Musikdirektor des Evangelischen Stifts Tübingen” was, and that he moved to Kaufbeuren for a new church-music position.

An official page of the Dreifaltigkeitskirche Kaufbeuren likewise states that Oidtmann started there on 1 March 2025 and had previously worked for ten years as Stiftsmusikdirektor at the Evangelisches Stift Tübingen.

Those sources show that Oidtmann no longer holds the Tübingen post, so the present-tense claim that he is the Stiftsmusikdirektor is incorrect.

The end year given here is one year too early.

A 2025 report from the Evangelischer Pressedienst says Frank Oidtmann was music director of the Evangelisches Stift Tübingen from 2015 to 2025. An official church page in Kaufbeuren also says he began his new post there on 1 March 2025 and had worked for ten years as Stiftsmusikdirektor in Tübingen before that.

That means his Tübingen tenure extended into 2025, not merely through 2024.
