The URL-encoded string claims the redirect's Redirects for discussion debate was "closed as delete". That is not the current status.

What I checked:

1. The redirect page itself still says the discussion is ongoing. The current page text says: "The purpose of this redirect is currently being discussed by the Wikipedia community." It also remains in the hidden category "Redirects for discussion from July 2026", which is consistent with an active RfD notice still being transcluded.

2. The linked RfD section is not closed. On the July 23, 2026 RfD log, the section covering "Teqball at the 2026 Asian Games" appears in the batch headed "Basketball at the 2026 Asian Games". Unlike closed discussions elsewhere on that same page, this section does not show the archived-discussion banner or a line such as "The result of the discussion was ...". Instead, it contains later comments dated August 5, 2026 and August 6, 2026, which indicates the discussion was still ongoing rather than closed as delete.

Because the discussion is still open and the page still exists as a redirect, the text claiming the debate was closed as delete is incorrect. It appears to be stray encoded text, not the actual outcome of the discussion.
