Correction
This date is wrong. Alberic of Trois-Fontaines was a 13th-century chronicler, and his chronicle was composed in the 1230s–1240s, not in 1119.
Full reasoning
Alberic of Trois-Fontaines was not writing in 1119. Reliable reference works place him in the 13th century:
- Deutsche Biographie identifies Alberic as "ein Chronist des 13. Jahrhunderts" (a chronicler of the 13th century) and says he composed his universal chronicle around 1250.
- ARLIMA dates his Chronicon to 1232–1241 and notes that he died after 1252.
So the article's parenthetical date is off by more than a century. Whatever passage is being cited from Alberic's chronicle cannot have been "written in 1119."
