the one at Nuntawong’s university.
Noppadon Nuntawong is affiliated with NECTEC, not a university. NECTEC is a national technology center under Thailand’s NSTDA.
Full reasoning
This phrase misidentifies Noppadon Nuntawong’s institution.
The 2020 tuberculosis Raman-spectroscopy paper cited earlier in the article lists Nuntawong’s affiliation as “National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Pathumthani, Thailand.” That is a national research center, not a university.
NECTEC’s own profile page likewise says “The National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) was established … [and] transformed into a national technology center under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)” and describes it as “a statutory government organisation.”
So calling the expensive Raman system “the one at Nuntawong’s university” is inaccurate because NECTEC is not a university.
