Jodie Foster was born on November 19, 1962. The Academy’s page for the 49th Academy Awards shows that her first Oscar nomination, for Taxi Driver, was at the 1977 ceremony held on March 28, 1977. On that date she was 14 years old, not 13. Independent coverage from the Associated Press also notes that Foster’s first Academy Award nomination came at age 14.

This line appears to have become outdated. A February 2026 PEOPLE report described the three actors as Radcliffe, 36, Grint, 37, and Watson, 35. Emma Watson’s Britannica biography gives her birth date as April 15, 1990, which means that by April 17, 2026 she had already turned 36. So as of now, the trio are 36, 37, and 36, not “in their early 30s.”
