the current head of Y Combinator
By May 2019, Sam Altman had stepped down from leading Y Combinator. YC announced that Geoff Ralston was taking over as president, while Altman remained only an advisor.
Full reasoning
This post was published on December 15, 2019, but Sam Altman was no longer the person heading Y Combinator by then.
YC's own May 20, 2019 announcement says: "Geoff Ralston is taking over for me as President of YC". The same post also says Altman would "remain an advisor to YC" and identifies Altman as someone who "was the president of YC from 2014-2019." That directly contradicts describing Altman as the current head of YC in December 2019.
So while Altman had previously led YC, calling him the current head of Y Combinator at the time of this post is outdated.
