Its technology means you need 0 (yes, zero) people to work at its parking lots.
Metropolis’s own materials say it still relies on large on-site operations teams, including mobility staff, operations managers, enforcement, and valet specialists.
Full reasoning
This claim is contradicted by Metropolis’s own description of how its parking operations work.
On its Operations page, Metropolis says it has "15,000+ Operations employees" and describes multiple human roles involved in running facilities, including mobility specialists, operations managers, enforcement, finance, and launch teams. The same page says "on-location teams use tablets" and that "our on-location employees ensure the orderly movement of vehicles, assist drivers, and maintain facility cleanliness."
On its Product page, Metropolis also says its internal app is used by "our on-location teams like operations managers and valet specialists."
So while Metropolis automates parts of parking operations, it does not eliminate the need for human workers at its lots. Its own materials explicitly describe substantial on-site staffing.
