On 26 January 2022, the Holy See Press Office announced two linked appointments:
- Bishop Giuseppe Sciacca, "until now secretary of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura," was appointed president of the Labour Office of the Apostolic See.
- Msgr. Andrea Ripa was appointed secretary of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura.
The Vatican's current structure page for the Apostolic Signatura also lists Andrea Ripa as Segretario. So the article's statement that the secretary is still Giuseppe Sciacca "since 2016" is outdated and incorrect.

But the Holy See Press Office announcement of 5 March 2024 says Pope Francis appointed Shane Lee Kirby as "promotor de justicia sustituto" / Promotore di Giustizia Sostituto of the Apostolic Signatura — that is, substitute promoter of justice, not the main promoter of justice.
The main Promotore di Giustizia had already been filled on 20 January 2023, when the Vatican announced the appointment of Msgr. Paweł Malecha as Promoter of Justice of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura.
So the article incorrectly identifies Kirby as the office-holder of the main prosecutorial role, when the official Vatican appointment was to the substitute position.
