3:1 TEG to distilled water
This reverses the ratio used in the post’s own calculations. Earlier the post says the working mixture is three parts water to one part TEG (25% TEG), but “3:1 TEG to distilled water” means 75% TEG and 25% water.
Full reasoning
Earlier in the post, the author says they "landed on three parts water to one part TEG" and then computes the TEG output using 25% TEG. That is a 1:3 TEG:water mixture.
By ordinary ratio notation, however, "3:1 TEG to distilled water" means 3 parts TEG for every 1 part water. That would be a 75% TEG / 25% water mixture, which is the opposite of the 25% TEG mixture the post says was tested and matched to the target output.
So the phrase "3:1 TEG to distilled water" is inconsistent with the post's own stated mixture and calculations. If the intended mix is the same one described earlier, it should be 1:3 TEG to water (or equivalently 3:1 water to TEG).

But the higher viscosity of TEG means it vaporizes more slowly, and after some trial and error I landed on three parts water to one part TEG. In a 60min test I measured mass decreasing by 56g, which is 0.233g/min (56g / 60min * 25% TEG). ... For the 2025-09-07 dance I'm planning to mix up 3:1 TEG to distilled water at home, where I have a scale.
