NPB’s official 2017 draft page for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles lists the 5th pick as 「田中 燿飛」. Separately, NPB’s historical player registry shows 「田中 耀飛」 with the note 「［改名］18～耀飛」, indicating that 耀飛 is the spelling used after a later name change beginning in 2018.

Because this article is documenting the 2017 draft, the spelling in this table should match the draft-era official record: 田中燿飛. Using 田中耀飛 here is historically inaccurate for the 2017 selection list.
