DST is observed throughout this time zone.
This is incorrect because at least one WET country—Iceland—does not observe daylight saving time.
Full reasoning
The claim says daylight saving time is observed throughout Western European Time, but Iceland is part of WET and does not use daylight saving time.
An official page from Statistics Iceland states: "There is no daylight saving time in the summer in Iceland so GMT is used all year round." Since Iceland uses GMT/UTC all year and does not switch clocks seasonally, DST is not observed throughout the WET zone.
That makes the blanket statement "DST is observed throughout this time zone" factually incorrect.
