Chris Krebs, the official Trump just fired.
This is misleading on timing and status: Trump fired Chris Krebs in November 2020, not “just” before this June 2026 post. In April 2025, Trump ordered an investigation and revoked any active security clearance held by Krebs, who was already a former official.

The post describes Chris Krebs as "the official Trump just fired" in a post published on June 14, 2026. But the documented firing happened much earlier: Krebs was removed as CISA director on November 17, 2020.

That same fact sheet also refers to Krebs as "the former head of CISA," confirming he was not a current official to be "just fired" in 2025 or 2026.
So the post is incorrect in two ways: it implies a very recent firing, and it implies Krebs was still a current government official. The record shows he had already been fired in 2020 and was a former official when Trump later targeted him again in 2025.
