This is a place-name error. Contemporary accounts of the monument’s unveiling and the Słubice municipal tourism page both identify the location as Plac Frankfurcki (with an extra f after “Frank”). Wikimedia Polska’s report on the October 22, 2014 unveiling says the ceremony moved to plac Frankfurcki, and the Słubice city page for the monument likewise says it stands przy Placu Frankfurckim w Słubicach. That directly contradicts the article’s wording “Plac Frankurcki.”
