A current official Toridoll recruitment page states the company’s head office is "東京都渋谷区道玄坂1-21-1 渋谷ソラスタ19階". Toridoll’s 2026 shareholder meeting materials likewise list the company headquarters as "1-21-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo."

So while Toridoll may previously have been headquartered in Kobe, the article’s present-tense statement that the operator is "based in Kobe" is outdated.

This sentence is inaccurate because it says Marugame Udon had only one Singapore store at ION Orchard. Contemporary sources show the chain had additional Singapore outlets.

A 2018 Straits Times PDF explicitly refers to Marugame Udon & Tempura’s "latest outlet at Raffles City" while also discussing the ION Orchard branch, which means there was already more than one outlet. Separately, CapitaLand Mall Trust’s 2019 annual report mentions Bedok Mall shoppers going to "Marugame Udon & Tempura," showing another Singapore branch at Bedok Mall.

So even if the ION Orchard outlet opened in 2018 and later closed, the claim that Singapore had a single store is contradicted by evidence of other outlets in Raffles City and Bedok Mall.
