So the article’s present-tense statement that Paul Wainaina is the vice chancellor is no longer correct.

In the infobox, the name Shem Migot-Adholla appears under Chairman, implying he is the current chairperson of the university council. Kenyatta University’s official University Council page now lists Prof. Clara Momanyi as Chairperson of Council. Separately, the university’s October 2025 news post about a book donation explicitly refers to Shem Migot Adholla as a former Chairman of the Kenyatta University Council. That makes the current-tense infobox entry incorrect.

The infobox says Kenyatta University has 13 campuses. But Kenyatta University’s own recent handbook says the university’s main campus is at Kahawa and that it has seven outlying campuses: Ruiru, Parklands, Nairobi City Centre, Nakuru, Mombasa, Embu and Kitui. That yields eight campuses in total, not 13. KU’s contact-information page also separately lists those same campuses. Based on the university’s current official materials, the campus count of 13 is incorrect.
