- These ownership percentages are incorrect. TSMC’s official announcements show JASM did not launch as a 70/20/10 venture, and its later disclosed ownership was about 86.5% TSMC, 6.0% Sony, 5.5% Denso, and 2.0% Toyota.
- TSMC’s current renewable-energy target is earlier than that. Its 2025 annual report says the company aims for 100% renewable energy by 2040, while net-zero remains a 2050 goal.
- TSMC’s 2025 net income figure is slightly off. The company’s 2025 annual report gives US$55.21 billion, not US$55.13 billion.
- TSMC’s own 2025 report gives an earlier timeline. It says the second Arizona fab is expected to enter high-volume manufacturing in the second half of 2027, not 2028.
