- This title is outdated. The Max Planck Institute described Dingemanse in 2020 as a former senior investigator, and his current Radboud profile lists him as a professor there instead.
- This misstates the research. Dingemanse’s work was not that the literal English word “huh” occurs in every language, but that a short *huh-like* repair interjection or equivalent appears cross-linguistically.

- 1834 was the last dismissal of a prime minister by a monarch, not the last time a monarch exercised personal discretion in choosing one. The House of Commons Library says such discretion was last exercised in 1963, after Harold Macmillan resigned.
- The Prime Minister’s Office was created in 1916, but that was not the first formal recognition of the premiership. Parliament records formal recognition earlier, including Hansard in 1885, the order of precedence in 1905, and the first statutory mention in 1917.
- This is incorrect: Parliament’s own research says several governments have taken military action without consulting Parliament, including in Syria in 2018 and in Yemen and the Middle East in 2024–2026. Parliament also has no legal veto over deployments.
- The experiment began on 18 July 1961, not 24 October 1961; 24 October was when it became permanent. And the Wednesday 3pm slot only ran from 1997 to the start of 2003, after which PMQs moved to noon.
- This overstates Parliament’s role. Current official guidance says Parliament is dissolved at the Prime Minister’s request under the 2022 Act, and members of the House of Lords are appointed by the King on the Prime Minister’s advice; neither process normally requires Parliament’s consent.

- VITAL randomization was not stratified by baseline vitamin D levels. The trial papers say randomization was stratified by sex, race, and age group, while baseline blood sampling was optional and available for only about two-thirds of participants.
- This omits D2d. In the D2d trial, all 2,423 participants had vitamin D levels measured at baseline, so VITAL, ViDA, and FIND were not the only major trials with substantial baseline measurement.
