Multiple coffee-industry and cooperative sources describe Abahuzamugambi as a cooperative of roughly 1,372 members, not 500,000:

- Union Coffee, a buyer/partner for Maraba Sovu, says the cooperative has “over a thousand members.”
By contrast, Rwanda’s National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) says Rwanda coffee is produced by about 400,000 smallholder farm families nationwide. So a figure in the hundreds of thousands belongs to the national coffee sector, not to the single Abahuzamugambi cooperative in Maraba.
In other words, the post overstates the cooperative’s size by hundreds of times.

A Reuters report from July 12 likewise said the death toll was 13 and the number missing was 10.
So while 13 deaths was current, 23 missing was not. The Wikipedia blurb appears to have kept an older missing-person figure after newer casualty updates had already reduced it.
