- This is false as written: on September 14, 2026 McConnell publicly addressed reporters in complete sentences, not just the word “aye.”

- The date is off by one day. Official SADC sources say Eswatini assumed the chairship on 17 August 2026, when the 46th SADC Summit was held and elected King Mswati III.
- The 1986 figure is wrong. World Bank historical data put Eswatini's life expectancy at about 61.6 years in 1986, not 32 years.
