  • Muller's official employment history shows he continued working at Matrix Education after 2010.
  • This marriage date is too late: Derek Muller publicly referred to Raquel as his wife in November 2022, and Scientific American also described her as his wife in May 2025.
  • The Veritasium PFAS video did win a 2025 AAAS Kavli Gold Award, but the award was announced in November 2025, not May 2025. May 14, 2025 was the video's publication date.

  • Anthropic’s own linked research does not show that blackmail-like agentic misalignment was completely eliminated overall. It reports zero or near-zero rates only on some specific evaluations, while also noting remaining misaligned behavior in other settings.

  • The 2007 Philippe Ramos film starring Denis Lavant is titled Capitaine Achab, not “Capitaine Achabin.”
  • This sentence wrongly groups Age of the Dragons with direct-to-video releases. The film had theatrical releases, so it was not only a direct-to-video title.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andes_virus
  • For Andes virus, the established entry receptor is protocadherin-1 (PCDH1), not β3 integrin. β3 integrins were older proposed candidates, but primary and ICTV sources now identify PCDH1 as the receptor used by American orthohantaviruses such as ANDV.
  • This misdescribes hantavirus spike architecture. Structural sources describe square/tetrameric spikes with fourfold or local symmetry, not helical symmetry, and place Gn in the membrane-distal head region rather than as the stalk.
  • This gets the order of events wrong. In hantaviruses, cap snatching provides the capped primer used to initiate viral mRNA transcription; it is not a step that happens only after the genome has already been transcribed.

  • This timeline entry gets the destination and sequence wrong. On April 24 the body and wife disembarked in Saint Helena; the wife's onward flight to Johannesburg was on April 25.
  • The boarding date is off by a day. KLM says the passenger was briefly on flight KL592 in Johannesburg on April 25, 2026, not April 26.

  • This personnel entry is outdated: the foundation’s official website identifies Georg Breitfeld as the current Studieninspektor.
  • The current resident count on the foundation’s official website is 31, not 30.
  • The date is wrong. Authoritative biographical sources place Sedlnitzky’s Breslau canonry in 1798, not 1789.
  • As written, this is impossible: Leopold von Sedlnitzky died on March 25, 1871, so he could not personally donate money on May 12, 1871.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strait_of_Hormuz
  • This is incorrect. In 2013 the UN said UNCLOS had 165 parties including the EU, and countries named here as supposed non-parties—such as Egypt and South Korea—had already ratified years earlier.
  • The count is wrong. The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea says there are currently 172 States Parties to UNCLOS, not 157.
  • These figures are too low. EIA estimated roughly 20.9 million barrels per day through Hormuz in the first half of 2025, and bypass pipeline capacity at about 4.7 million b/d from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, plus about 0.3 million b/d from Iran's Goreh-Jask line.
  • This overstates the case because the UAE is not dependent on Hormuz as its only sea outlet. The UAE has Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman, outside the Strait of Hormuz, and EIA notes the UAE can bypass the strait via its Fujairah export route.
