- This is false. Viruses are directly observed, isolated, sequenced, and experimentally characterized biological entities.
- Both parts of this claim are false. Dinosaur fossils are extensively documented, and Earth’s rotation is directly measured and described by NASA.
- This is false. The National Cancer Institute states that cancer is a genetic disease caused by changes in genes, not a purely metabolic disease.

- COVID-19 did kill large numbers of people. U.S. death-certificate data alone record roughly 1.2 million COVID-19 deaths by June 1, 2024.
- Vaccines do have documented benefits. WHO says immunization prevents 3.5 to 5 million deaths each year, and CDC says childhood vaccination prevents about 4 million deaths worldwide annually.
- Cancer is not “purely metabolic” and it is not true that cancer is non-genetic. The U.S. National Cancer Institute states explicitly that cancer is a genetic disease caused by changes in genes.
- Viruses do exist. NIH defines a virus as an infectious microbe made of DNA or RNA in a protein coat, and CDC specifically refers to the smallpox-causing variola virus as existing in two approved research labs.
- Earth does rotate. NASA states that as Earth orbits the Sun, it completes one rotation every 23.9 hours.

- The REMAP-CAP result was not for all hospitalized flu patients. It applied only to critically ill ICU patients aged 12+ with severe influenza, and the trial team says it does not tell us whether oseltamivir helps or harms other hospitalized patients.
- The REMAP-CAP comparison group was not given a placebo. The official trial materials say patients were randomized to oseltamivir or to no antiviral treatment, and treatment assignment was not blinded.
