  • Prosus/Naspers no longer owns 25.6% of Tencent. Tencent’s own filings show the stake was 24.01% at the end of 2024 and 22.80% at the end of 2025.
  • Tencent does not currently hold 20% of Universal Music Group. UMG’s investor relations page lists Tencent Holdings Limited at 11.45% capital interest.
  • This should be 2017, not 2016. Tencent’s official investor materials show it announced its 2017 second-quarter and interim results on August 16, 2017.
  • This ownership percentage is outdated. Tencent’s filings show the Naspers/Prosus vehicle held 24.01% at the end of 2024 and 22.80% at the end of 2025, not 25.65%.
  • Tencent’s stake in DouYu is not 37% in the latest filing. DouYu’s 2025 annual report says Tencent held about 40.0% of DouYu’s outstanding ordinary shares as of March 31, 2026.

  • This is outdated. Since April 20, 2023, Demis Hassabis has led Google DeepMind, while Jeff Dean has served as Google's Chief Scientist rather than the lead of Google AI.
  • The dollar amount is overstated. At least two of the named 2016 grants were officially announced as $1 million, not $2 million, so the claim that the foundation gave '$2 million each' is incorrect.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_London
  • This is outdated. The University of London’s Board of Trustees is chaired by Kavita Reddi, not Sir Richard Dearlove.
  • This student total is too high. Recent University of London pages describe its worldwide/distance-learning student body as about 40,000 to 45,000 students, not more than 50,000.
  • This description leaves out the board’s student member. The University of London says its Board of Trustees has 18 members, including a student member as well as the independent members, vice-chancellor and heads of federation members.
  • This is not the University’s formal Visitor. The Visitor is the Sovereign, acting through the President of the Council.

  • This mixes up two different genera: Vieillot’s 1816 type-species designation concerned Erolia, not Tringa. The type species of Tringa is the Green Sandpiper (Tringa ochropus), not the Curlew Sandpiper.

  • This sentence appears to conflate White's 2010 honours thesis with her 2017 Routledge chapter. Publisher and academic sources identify the 2010 thesis under a different title and describe the 2017 publication as an excerpted chapter called “The porn performer.”

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Barons'_War
  • This sentence gives the wrong month. Magna Carta was sealed at Runnymede on 15 June 1215, and its terms were published four days later, not on 15 July.
  • The earlier siege of Windsor Castle was in 1193, not 1189. Multiple historical sources identify Prince John's siege crisis at Windsor as happening in 1193.
  • The month is wrong here. The barons renewed their allegiance to John on 19 June 1215, not 19 July.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Burnham
  • This is premature and incorrect: the Greater Manchester mayoral by-election had not yet been held. Official notices state the election is scheduled for 30 July 2026.
  • This overstates what Burnham's 2010 policy did. It proposed free personal care at home only for people with the highest needs, not free social care for all elderly and disabled people.
  • This counts his mayoral wins incorrectly. Burnham was first elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2021, so 2024 was his second re-election, not his third.
  • This misattributes Labour's rail nationalisation programme to the previous Conservative government. The Conservatives' Williams-Shapps plan explicitly said it was 'not renationalisation', while the public-ownership programme was launched by the Labour government in December 2024.
