- This overstates the number of Bashkir speakers in Russia. Recent census-based sources put the number closer to about 1.1 million, while 1.57 million is the ethnic Bashkir population.

- Jadidism was a reform movement, not the doctrinal affiliation of Bashkirs as a people. Standard descriptions identify Bashkirs primarily as Sunni Muslims of the Hanafi school.
- The cited paper reports different proportions: 69% West Eurasian paternal lineages and 20.7% East Eurasian paternal lineages, not 60% and at least 40%. It also describes N1a-Z1936 as a European/Finno-Permic branch, so counting it as East Eurasian is misleading.
- Bashkir troops in 1812–1814 were not mercenaries. Historical sources describe them as Bashkir regiments/host serving within the Russian Empire's own irregular military system.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagestan
- This is outdated. Dagestan’s constitution says the People’s Assembly has 90 deputies, and they are elected for five-year terms, not 72 deputies for four years.
- The People’s Assembly is Dagestan’s legislative body, not its executive one. Official sources say executive power is headed by the Head of Dagestan.
- This describes an abolished system. Official sources say the State Council was the top executive body only until February 2006; today executive power is headed by the Head of Dagestan, who forms the Government.
- This is no longer correct. Recent Rosstat data show Dagestan’s life expectancy at birth is higher than Ingushetia’s, so Ingushetia is not the only region above Dagestan.
- Imavov’s current UFC ranking is not #2. Official UFC sources list him as the No. 3 middleweight.

- FC Ufa is based in Ufa, but it was not a Russian Premier League club at the time of the cited page; the club’s own site shows it competing in Russia’s First League in 2025–26.
- This confuses oil refining with oil extraction. Official Rosstat data and regional-government statements show Bashkortostan was not Russia’s top oil-producing region; Tatarstan produced far more, while Bashkortostan was noted instead as a leader in refining.

- The date is off by at least a year. Azerbaijani switched from Latin to Cyrillic in 1939, with use beginning on January 1, 1940—not in 1938.

- The Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was proclaimed on 28 May 1918, not 27 May 1918.
- This is no longer accurate: Azerbaijan’s Supreme Court chief justice is a man, and the Constitutional Court’s published roster shows one woman judge, not two.
- This is incorrect: Baku State University was founded in 1919, and modern universities in the Muslim East predated it, including Cairo University in 1908.

- 1955年迎回的是舍利到台湾,并先供奉于日月潭玄光寺;玄奘寺直到1965年建成后,舍利才迁入玄奘寺。

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urdu
- This confuses two different people. The earliest complete Urdu Qur’an translation is credited to Shah Abdul Qadir Dehlavi, not the 20th-century scholar Abdul Qadir Raipuri.
- The article’s own country figures do not add up to 100 million native speakers. Official census figures put Urdu mother-tongue speakers at about 50.8 million in India and 22.25 million in Pakistan, or roughly 73 million combined.
- This number is off by a factor of ten. The 2011 Census of India recorded about 50.8 million Urdu mother-tongue speakers, not 5.08 million.
- This overstates Urdu’s status in West Bengal. Under West Bengal law, Urdu is used officially only in districts, subdivisions, blocks, or municipalities where Urdu speakers exceed 10% of the population.

- India does not have 23 official languages. The Constitution’s Eighth Schedule lists 22 scheduled languages, and Article 343 says the official language of the Union is Hindi in Devanagari script.
- India has had 28 states, not 29, since the reorganisation of Jammu and Kashmir took effect on October 31, 2019.
- There is no separate Union Territory called “Dadra and Nagar Haveli” anymore. Since January 26, 2020, it has been merged with Daman and Diu into the single Union Territory of “Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.”

- The date is wrong. Berkowitz’s police letter mentioning “yahoos” was left at the April 17, 1977 crime scene, not in 1976.

- This gloss is incorrect. Standard Greek lexicography derives Θεαίτητος (Theaetetus) as meaning “obtained from God,” not “one who pleads to God.”
- This etymology is wrong. Thorkel/Torkel comes from Old Norse Þórketill, meaning “Thor’s cauldron,” not “Thor’s craft.”
