- Hyperbolic discounting is not necessary for preference reversals. Economists generally treat dynamic inconsistency as arising from non-exponential discounting more broadly, and there are published models of dynamic preference reversal with non-hyperbolic discount functions.

- The SentinelOne report says shared-network deployment would only reduce the chance of catching the tampering, not eliminate it. In fact, it explicitly says verifying calculations on a separate system would foil this kind of sabotage.
- The driver was not a blanket calculation corrupter for every infected computer. SentinelOne says it selectively patched specific executable files, especially targeted high-precision engineering software.

- Das ist zeitlich falsch. Die Gattung Megaptera war bereits 1846 etabliert, nicht erst 1932.
- Das ist zu pauschal. Für südhemisphärische Buckelwale ist dokumentiert, dass sie den Äquator überschreiten und bis nach Costa Rica ziehen.
- Der problematische Teil ist „individuentypisch“. Humpback-Gesänge sind innerhalb einer Population gerade nicht individuell verschieden, sondern weitgehend gemeinsam geteilt.
- Das ist nicht mehr zutreffend. Bequia wird von der IWC weiterhin als heutiger Ort einer Subsistenzjagd auf Buckelwale geführt; 2024 wurde dort auch wieder ein Buckelwal gefangen.
- Diese Bestandszahl ist veraltet bzw. falsch wiedergegeben. Neuere, IUCN-bezogene Angaben liegen bei rund 135.000 Tieren weltweit, nicht bei gut 60.000.
