- Snowmaking machines do not generally work by spraying bacterial proteins. Standard snowmaking is made from water and air, and bacterial ice-nucleating proteins are only an optional additive used in some systems.
- That is not how the additive is used. Snomax is mixed into the snowmaking water before it reaches the snow gun, and the droplets freeze while traveling through cold air rather than instantly upon first contact with air.
